We offer extensive diagnostic services right on site, including blood testing, digital imaging such as X-rays and ultrasound, cytology and more. Many of these tests are performed in-house, giving our vets immediate access to results and helping them assess your pet’s condition quickly and confidently.

While we provide a broad scope of general and emergency veterinary care, some situations call for specialist expertise. For these cases, The Ark works closely with trusted veterinary specialists. These clinicians have undergone rigorous additional training in areas such as advanced imaging, orthopaedics, internal medicine, and ultrasound. When a pet faces a complex health issue that requires this level of expertise, we can organise a referral to the right specialist, ensuring your pet gets an informed diagnosis and tailored treatment plan. 

We remain involved throughout the referral process. That means we help interpret specialist reports, support you in weighing treatment options and coordinate ongoing care once your pet returns from specialist assessment. Our objective is to make the process smooth for you and your pet, even when the issue is complicated or the decisions are difficult.
