Mel

Mel has been an integral part of our nursing team since 2016, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the animal welfare and rehoming industry in both Darwin and her hometown of Sydney.

Since completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, Mel has become one of only a handful of Registered Veterinary Nurses in the Northern Territory. She is deeply committed to ongoing education—not only for herself but for the entire nursing team—ensuring that our standards of care continue to grow and evolve.

Outside the clinic, Mel balances her busy professional life with motherhood and rural living. She shares her property with an assortment of livestock, two dogs, a pet turtle, and a bearded dragon—with just enough room left for her enduring love of wildlife.
