The Ark Animal Hospital was established in Palmerston in 2006.
We treat pets and wildlife from all over Darwin and the wider Northern Territory, including remote communities, Central and even Western Australia. We are conveniently located near the Palmerston Shopping Centre and are just a quick drive from Howard Springs and Berrimah, with plenty of parking.
We have many years of experience with a wide variety of domestic and exotic pets and wildlife including snakes, rodents, lizards, sea turtles, kangaroos, sugar gliders, crocodiles, and the list goes on.
We are widely recognised as leaders in the treatment of pets and wildlife in the region, with extensive skills and experience in animal care and treatment. We are versatile and adaptable, able to treat any animal brought to us and we use a holistic scientific approach to find the best treatment for your pet.

Our head vet and business owner Dr Stephen Cutter (BVSc(Hons)), raised in Alice Springs, has been working in the Territory for many years, and The Ark Animal Hospital as his own practice, to provide the best quality treatment for pets, and to support his work in remote and indigenous communities.
